Assembly video coming up eventually!
Mounts allowing attachment of Heusinkveld Ultimate+ Dampers to Simgrade VX-Pro pedals.
Ever since I saw the Simgrade VX-Pro pedals I was drawn from their design - really wanted progressive, linkage + spring based pedals and they did not disappoint! Since up till then was with HEU+ pedals I was missing some of the high end features.
Decided to whip quick mount system to attach the HEU+ dampers and see of the Simgrade VX-Pro would benefit from them. Have to say I am pretty impressed, and currently these are my favorite pedals!
Mounts were designed to use existing holes on the pedals and to be as minimalistic as possible with M5 through boltson the pivots to be extra durable and stiff.
Parts in the package:
1. Top mounts - tapered hole to mount to throttle and clutch, flat for brake. Two size - S and L. Short fits dampers fully extended, made also longer version to keep little compression.
2. Bottom mounts - Low and High. Low is for throttle as it mounts above the travel limiter, High is for the other two pedals.
3. Various sizes of washers - do not remember which one I used, you will have to measure.
Feel and issues:
Pedals feel amazing and I personally prefer them to my HEU+. Addition of damper gives me better control + the hydraulic feel I am used to and like. The mounts are very stable so I did not have mechanical issues with the construction.
On the other hand using PETG becomes squeaky fast. This was easily countered by adding silicone oil on the pivots.
The other downside is the dampers themselves are expensive and hard to obtain.
There is newer version in the works with Aliexpress alternative parts, stay tuned!

Parts needed:
1. Heusinkveld Ultimate+ dampers - hard to obtain, maybe buy from manufacturer spare? Could not find cheap substitute with same attributes.
2. M5x30mm socket bolts x6 +M5 washers - to mount the dampers on their pivots.
3. M5x20mm + M5 nuts x4 - mount the upper supports to the pedal arm sides.
4. Longer M6 tapered screws for the pedal arm assembly - do not remember exact size, you will need to measure.
Assembly instructions:
1. Lower mounts should be screwed to the existing holes on the pedal base. Throttle one goes on top of limiter. Used longer M5 bolt for the pivot, original shorter ones for the other mounting hole.
2. Brake pedal though bolt has to be reversed as on pictures if you choose to put damper on left side.
3. Throttle and clutch pedal through molts were changed to longer tapered M6 to accommodate the top pivot mount.
4. Second mounting hole on top pivot is attached on existing hole of the pedal arms.
5. M5x30mm bolts are screwed directly in the plastic - was too lazy to deal with inserts.
Print settings:
Walls and layers top/bottom - 5. No supports needed. Printed in PETG for extra stability, PLA should work too.
