Part 1 of my Modular Central Console design.

The idea was to create central console dashboard that resembles real race car but split it in different modules you can mix and match.

This particular unit is control box for the Robot Servo Belt tensioner. It features race car battery switch, automotive relay, car blinker resistor as offload circuit. I also added a LED which lights up when offload circuit is active.

The red lever is supposed to have a sticker marked Fire but is actually a tuning handle for oil dip stick. It has only decorative purpose in my project but can be easily repurposed to something else (switch for example).

Design has two enclosure boxes - one only with mounting holes and a Audio connector mount place. The other has integrated mount for Step Down DC-DC 5V converter  which can de mounted inside. Also it has mount holes for the offload resistor on the outside.

In the files you will also find the dip stick and automotive fuse mounts.

The car battery cutoff switch can be modified with the included module as show in the pictures. You will have to disassemble the switch, trim its body and replace the lower part. I also had to trim the connector plate a little to fit properly. It is easy modification and reduces greatly the switch size. Connectors are replaced with M3 screws.
