Latest version of my paddle shifter design. Following iterations implemented:
1. Switched to bigger magnets - files have 12mm and 15mm magnet version
2. Redesigned side plates - very compact layout
3. Switched to M3 brass inserts for base and shifter arm
4. Base mount now with lateral mount holes, cab be switched forward-backward offset
5. Short throw - same as V2
Shifters are much more stable now, very compact and with small footprint. They feel much better now, throw is perfect and you can always add more magnets to make them stiffer. Construction is sturdy, I believe this reaches the limit of current design and most probably I will not be extending them further.

- Omron micro switch or clone (Important! arm must be bend with pliers, see below): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32273125391.html
- Struts are 20mm, M3 bore, 5mm OD: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32964326790.html
- M3 Alu washers for slick look, not so needed: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32968161596.html
- M3 countersunk screws, I used 16mm ones.
- Screws for the switches - 2.5 mm if remember correctly
- Neodym magnets - 12mm or 15mm, I used 12x5 and 15x4
- M3 mounting hardware for paddles and base
- M3 brass inserts - M3x4-6, OD 4.2mm - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003582355741.html
As this is one of my short throw shifters again you will have to bend a little the metal arm on the switches.
Assembly video - almost the same as V2:
