Small form factor magnetic paddle switch for Sim Racing. Was designed to compliment my push-pull rally shifter and add as static switch on the other side. I used this mainly for triggering my windscreen wipers in rally games.
Such paddles usually are mounted on a Rally steering wheel close to the center on the left side, but I wanted to make static one allowing me to use DIY steering wheels without buttons on them.
Ability to trigger windscreen wipers is quite important in both Dirt Rally 2.0 and WRC Generations when driving cockpit cameras, also great for immersion.
Paddles were modded after Ford Puma WRC Rally Car. One is after the steering wheel paddle, the other is after the push-pull shifter.
The paddle switch also has QR so you can keep it in place and use it with wheels with built in paddle shifters. It is tuned to have the same height as my push pull shifter, but several QR options are provided in the package.

- M3x14 countersunk screws with side mounts, M3x10mm for the flat mount
- Screws for the switches - 2.5 mm if remember correctly
- Neodym magnets - 15x4mm, you can put multiple or taller for stronger feel
- M3 mounting hardware for paddles and base

- M3x8mm screws for attaching paddle to QRs, M3x10 if prefer to mount them on switch arm directly
- M3x16mm screws and nuts for QR clip lock
Print Settings:
Only QRs need support. Side brackets, side plates for flat mount need to be mirrored in slicer.
Printed in PLA, 5 layers top/bottom and 5 walls, 60% infill for extra rigidity and better mechanical feedback.
